Glass Finder's main challenge was developing an engaging and efficient platform that seamlessly connects artists and buyers. The solution needed to be user-friendly, enabling artists to manage their products and sales while providing users with a personalized and smooth shopping experience. Additionally, the project required native applications for both iOS and Android, along with a web platform.
To tackle this challenge, we started with a Discovery phase to understand the specific needs of both artists and users. We designed an intuitive interface focused on maximizing product adoption. Next, we developed a web app and native applications for iOS and Android, allowing artists to register, create profiles, upload products, manage their sales, and access detailed statistics. Users can create accounts, follow artists, explore products, and make purchases through an integrated shopping cart. Additionally, we integrated a logistics platform to handle various shipping options, providing prices based on distance, size, and weight of the products. We also assisted in selecting a payment gateway that facilitates shipping these unique items, considering the high insurance costs involved.
Extensive testing was conducted to ensure smooth functionality across all platforms. Finally, the platform was launched with a marketing campaign emphasizing the opportunity to purchase unique pieces and support independent artists.
Connection and Community: Glass Finder has built a vibrant community where artists can showcase and sell their work, and fans can discover and purchase unique pieces directly from the creators.
