
The company had initially launched an app for the marketing of musical instruments that required substantial improvements to scale effectively and deliver advanced features. The existing platform suffered from poor code quality, which compromised functionality. The Bajaao team aimed to not only refine the existing application but also to introduce innovative features. Additionally, they planned to establish a second-hand marketplace and a social network for musicians.
The project strategy was executed in several key phases. Initially, we undertook a comprehensive analysis of the existing code to evaluate its quality and identify necessary enhancements. In the development phase, we concentrated on optimizing the efficiency and functionality of the code. This included integrating Shopify and creating a platform for selling used items, both connected to payment gateways, shipping, and packaging systems. Moreover, we built a social network within the app to link individuals with similar musical interests, utilizing geolocation features to enhance the user experience. The project culminated with the delivery of the finished product and the transfer of knowledge to Bajaao's team, accompanied by ongoing support to ensure seamless operation.
