Context
Clear Petroleum faced the need to assess the performance of its management team. They sought a quick solution that would allow for the collection and analysis of feedback from multiple hierarchical levels within the organization. Consequently, the company decided to conduct a 360-degree survey for its management team to obtain a comprehensive evaluation of their performance. The firm required a platform that would facilitate the distribution of this survey, data collection, and the generation of detailed performance reports.
Strategy
To address these challenges, we developed a strategy centered around the quick and effective deployment of a 360-degree feedback platform, selecting FlutterFlow due to its flexibility and the capability to develop a custom solution within three weeks.
We crafted a survey with 15 questions, using a 1 to 5 scale, designed to enable each of the 60 executives to receive feedback from their superiors and conduct self-evaluations. Moreover, each executive or manager was required to choose at least two peers and two subordinates to complete the survey, ensuring a comprehensive and multidimensional assessment.
Participants were provided with personalized access credentials, allowing them to complete the survey independently and track their progress. The system facilitated engagement through automatic notifications. Responses were compiled in a centralized database, and comparative reports were generated. These reports juxtaposed self-assessments with peer evaluations, highlighting discrepancies and providing a relative positioning analysis within the organization.
Results
- The implementation of the 360-degree survey was a success. Over 300 individuals participated, providing a comprehensive and detailed view of the management team's performance. The platform facilitated the collection and analysis of data, generating accurate and useful reports for strategic decision-making.
- The reports highlighted areas of strength and opportunities for improvement for each executive, comparing self-assessments with evaluations from their peers and subordinates. This enabled Clear Petroleum to identify discrepancies and areas for personal and professional development.
