Context
Techint identified the need to optimize its employee management and ensure efficiency in gathering relevant information. To meet these challenges, the development of a platform that allowed interaction between employees and improved human resource management with career plans was required.
Strategy
"Continuous Feedback" focused on personalizing the user experience. It is a platform developed in .NET + Angular.js, where each employee has a user account that allows them to personalize the information they can view: goals, weighting, measurement, assigned tasks, among other variables. The platform enables setting both standard and customized goals for each role, categorized according to the position, allowing users to effectively manage their goals and associated tasks.
A system for creating activities was implemented that allows users to specify and schedule their tasks, directly linked to the assigned objectives. Activities can be modified based on progress and reassigned to different collaborators as needed. Additionally, automatic notifications were incorporated to respond to user action requests, increasing system interactivity and efficiency. Employees can request and receive feedback flexibly, not only from superiors but also from peers or anyone within the organization, promoting a decentralized approach to evaluations. This ensures the capture of diverse perspectives, enriching the evaluation process and making it more objective. Moreover, the information obtained facilitates the projection of career plans.
Results
Improvement in organization and communication: Feedback allowed for detailed organization of tasks and goals, along with the ability to add constructive comments and send relevant communications to facilitate collaboration.
Continuous evaluation and constructive adjustments: Users could constantly review and assess completed activities, adjusting goals based on performance evaluations. This allowed for real-time constructive adjustments.
Boost to objective evaluation: The modes of evaluation, both open and anonymous, encouraged honest and unbiased appraisal. The data collected were fundamental for performance evaluations and had a direct impact on employees' career plans.
