Context

AAOT needed to improve the international distribution of its journal and increase its readership, but printing and distribution represented a high economic cost and a complex execution. They also sought to make past editions available through a historical library that their readers could easily access.

Strategy

Given the client’s needs and understanding the stated objective, we put several options on the table, with Memo being the most suitable due to its flexibility and scalability.

Memo is a communication product developed as a SaaS (Software as a Service) that allows managing internal and/or external communication, creating an exclusive channel. It replaces intranets, WhatsApp groups, and eliminates the distribution of printed information. Thanks to Memo, the journal is now available to all its subscribers, both Spanish-speaking and in its English version.

Result

  • Multi-platform: Developed natively for iOS and Android devices, plus a cloud-based CMS administration solution.
  • Increased frequency: Thanks to Memo, the journal started being published more frequently.
  • Multimedia: Articles include multimedia material such as videos and audios, which could not be done through printed material before.
  • Favorites and Notes: Each user can save articles of interest in their favorites and add notes to them whenever they want.
